I played the original Genesis version of Sonic 1 (I’m normally used to the Origins version of it) but it was hard to get all six emeralds and obviously really hard to advance without the spin charge and drop dash. I managed to beat it though, with a bad ending ;-; Nice stickfig tho

woah I can’t even get past labyrinth zone act 3

Act 3 is fairly hard but definitely beatable. When you’re in the waterfall section try to get to the platform on the left with the shield monitor, and meanwhile in the act try to preserve it and have at least 20 rings. When you’re in the boss section you don’t have to beat Eggman, you just simply have to avoid the spike traps in the winding climb to the top. Although there is water rising, so make sure you also time your jumps precisely and avoid drowning, since there isn’t any bubble columns.
