Blue Lock is a sports anime and manga series focused on soccer. The story revolves around a radical Japanese government project to create the world's best striker: "Blue Lock," a facility where 300 young strikers are forced to compete against each other. Anyone who fails is banned from professional soccer in Japan.

The protagonist, Yoichi Isagi, enters the program after failing to lead his school team to the national championship. There, he must overcome extremely talented rivals such as Rin Itoshi, Bachira, Nagi, and others, while discovering his true identity as a player.
