The areas of the Outskirts closest to Demon's Lair are corrupted and dirtied with growths and blobs of an unknown demonic substance.

This Demon goo is EXTREMELY toxic and may cause breathing difficulties, it is also very sticky which means it could trap you and if your unfortunate enough, drown you. oddly, these sorts of areas usually don't have many Demons within as the goo can simply defend for them, though it would be a foolish assumption to think there wouldn't be any at all as there most certainly be a few, maybe even a Corpsemaker if you're unlucky enough.

Ralph's edit: It seems very comfortable and a good place to take a nap.
