Actually, in one of the comics, Anguirus won against Destroyah with the help of 2 people in a helicopter armed with freezer missiles.

That’s the thing, “with the help”. Any time Anguirus has won, it’s been with assistance. Haven’t checked out all of the comics yet, so I can’t really judge most of those occurrences, but definitely not in the movies.
