Anubis is not the god of the afterlife but mummification the real god of the afterlife in Egyptian mythology is Osiris
I thouht he was the god of the dead. I better go study ancient Egypt more. Osiris that is.
Another fact:Anubis was the Child of Osiris and Seth (pronounced by Set) wife who seduces him and also aided in the mummification of Osiris Aka his father and Anubis is a jackal because jackals were always by graves because the are the remains of the dead bodies were a gud meal
