Yesterday, Laser-Fire posted this piece of artwork of Wheeljack with a drake (he's wingless) beast mode like in Beast Wars, so I quickly went to work redesigning him in Stick Nodes. When looking at the original design, Laser-Fire at least managed to place the kibble well, so there was enough to work with when designing him. The hardest part was getting everything to fit together to be both seamless in beast mode and not intrusive in robot mode. The robot mode core was designed, first with the beast mode coming after. So for transformation, it is inspired by the original toy, with the legs becoming the dragon head and neck, and the arms forming the side and back of the dragon. The dragon arms hang off the back in robot mode, so they had a part move them to their correct position in beast mode. And yes, I designed him so he does a handstand in beast mode for transformation.
