Brief History on what gobots are: Gobots where the main competition to transformers back in the 80' .No,They wheren't knockoffs as many ppl may think
They actually came out a bit earlier in the states than the transformers so it was a bit of a coincidence that both toylines had the same gimmick.In then end the gobots ultimately failed to the popularity of the Transformers resulting into the company that owned the gobots brand(tonka) being brought out by hasbro(Current owner of the Transformers brand) resulting into the gobots being somehow fused into the transformers universe.Trought the 21st century they would only pop up in a few cameos in comics here and there but nothing major thus far.
Cy-Kill's bio:
Cy-Kill is the leader of the Renegades, who turns into a motorbike. A former Guardian High Protector, he is an inveterate schemer, frequently plotting the conquest of GoBotron and/or Earth with maybe the rest of the universe on the agenda. He is also a very large ham.

After buying Tonka alongside with gobots hasbro was limited to what they can do since they do not own the toys themselves that where made at the time,Bandai owns most of the stuff such such as the toys where as hasbro only really owns the names and colourschemes of the US release of the toys (not the toys themselves),but
What they do own is the tonka original gobot toys such as Zod.
