The russian Dragunov SVD / SVD 63. Is a semi automatic sniper/marksman rifle chambered in the 7.62x54mmR rimmed cartridge (no it's ammo is not interchangeable with the 7.62x39mm) designed by Yevgeny Dragunov is a rifle built for medium to long range combat with an effective range of 830 meters.
The pack comes with 10 figures:
Magazine
Cartridge
Bullet Shell
Projectile
Left SCOPED variant
Left iron sights variant
Right SCOPED variant
Right iron sights variant
Dragunov SVD Bass
Side mounted sniper scope
Assembly
Magazine→Bass→Details

As promised, I made a gun in the month of March. Though still cramming in school and undergoing the BIG sad, I'm doing better than some of my classmates atleast.
This gun took me a total of 13 hours to make from scratch with many different distractions/commercial breaks.
The gun with the scope has a total amount of 809 nodes, not the most optimized I can do, but the Node count was mostly taken by the insane amount of details on the scope. I also learned a new gradienting technique as well as an easier way to make circles without gradients. I tried to make the gradients as subtle as possible but not to subtle to make it look realistick ™.
Smart stretch was used again of course for the spring of the bolt and a few features were added/improved as well like the charging handle (improved charging handle compared to my ak47 figure)
When pulling the charging handle back, I recommend using the segment length editor tool when animating to avoid "breaking" the alignment and overall look of the gun.
