The force pike is a weapon issued to Emperor Palpatine's elite royal guard who are the most elite troops in the galactic empire. The weapon is a vibroblade that is coated in an alloy that blocks lightsaber strikes.

When set to kill it cuts in a similar fashion to lightsabers. It is very similar to the elecrostaff. It is also good for poking things and for toasting marshmallows. (star wars)
