A tiny lil guy, depite the popular beleive that they are ambush preditors, recent studies show gulper eels actively persuing prey, they find a prey animal, open their mouth which then allows a dewlap to expand and rapidly pull in water, and with it, the prey item, the glowing tail is most likely to lure prey closer.
