Nah a gut knife is spring assisted because you pull down the latch on the side and the blade moves up a switchblade you press a button and the blade shoots out from the top but more or less their comparable

I thought the gut knife was called a gut knife Cuz it had a gut hook? also this is traced from my actual knife which does have a button to shoot out the blade so I guess it is a switch blade?

I Googled it oof, I guess I was right
