The heavy shock infantry of the Covenant. a singular Hunter is made up of hundreds upon hundreds of worms known as 'Lekgolo'. when coloneys of these 'Hunter worms' are threatened, they unite into a massive and brutish shape to defend themselves. within the Covenant, Hunters are fitted with extremely tough armour, a fuel rod cannon and even a shield made with the same material their supercarriers are built with.

However, there is a well known secret to dealing with unters and it is to shoot at the opening in their back, especially with eiter a shotgun or a Plasma grenade. overall, a hunter is an enemy that will leave you dreading when the next one will pop up.
