This abomination of a shield is called a Lanturn Shield. they're designed to be the swiss army knife of shields, equipped with a three sharp prongs laced with sword breakers, a gauntlet, a sword blade and of course a freaking lanturn.

Supposedly it was used by guards as the lanturn would allow for better vision at night while its freakish design may ward off the thought of commiting any crimes.
