A massive wyvern-like titan that is the culprit of the destruction of the USS Lawton killing and encased all aboard except Bill Randa in narce, and dragged the ship back to the Philippines. And fiercely attacking anyone who enters it's territory. In 1962 Monarch organized an expedition into Axis Mundi, named Operation Hourglass, using an entrance, a Gamma Ray Simulator was set up to lure a Titan. The simulation successfully attracted the beast, which moved to pass through the portal until the simulation was turned off. Causing the titan to lost interest and return to Axis Mundi, followed by a team which included Lee.

The team was subsequently trapped as the portal imploded for unknown reasons. As they attempted an evacuation from the surface, the dragon attacked them and eating at least one member of the group before flying through the portal. In 2015, Shaw, Keiko, Care Randa, and May Olowe-Hewitt attempted to escape Axis Mundi from Operation Hourglass. Upon the Simulator's activation, it instead lured the nearby dragon who attempted to grab the simulator meanwhile another titan was attracted to the Simulator and began moving through the portal, Godzilla emerged from the portal and responded with a roar, the dragon was quick to attack Godzilla, but was overwhelmed by the larger monster eventually Godzilla tore off one of it's wings before throwing it into the portal.
