Backstory: He got the scars by a decisive battle with Sean.Years later,they found out what their powers could accomplish together.They found pupils to train,and they became strong.Those pupils were Epitaph,Berke,Dmlan,and Aamir.Sean was using the power of the darkness for far too long.
He had failed to kill Ralph,so he had to pay the price.The dark lord placed a cursed time circle to race Sean's age to an old,brittle vessel.(Keep note that Sean was never on Ralph's side to begin with)He had to find a young,powerful vessel to destroy Ralph and take over the world with.And when he first eyed Epitaph,Sean had found his vessel.
