I actually just watched it whole recently, I couldn’t believe how good it actually was, although it had motion capture you could barely notice with so many action scenes and manually animated parts it’s simply amazing

Motion capture back then? Very impressive. From Wikipedia, “It was Sony’s first computer animated film produced by Sony Pictures Imageworks.” I see now, it was by Sony. That’s why they had all the technology needed.
