Spider-Man is a fictional superhero created by writer-editor Stan Lee and writer-artist Steve Ditko.

He first appeared in the anthology comic book Amazing Fantasy #15 in the Silver Age of Comic Books.

His real name is Peter Parker who lives in Queens, NY. He was only 15 when he got bit by a radioactive spider that caused him to gain the abilities of a spider.
