Includes 2 species of flamingos.

Greater flamingo: A species of flamingo, it is white, has pink legs and beak, endemic through parts of Europe and Africa. They are widely seen at Middle East too. We have those at UAE. The scientific name for this is phoenicopterus roseus. They also live at India too.

American flamingo: Also known as the Caribbean flamingo or Greater flamingo too. This species is native to North America and the Caribbean. It is pink, has peach legs, and white and pink beak. The scientific name is phoenicopterus ruber.
