The 2nd Reaper of the CCG, Shade was a long time member of the CCG and has been slaying ghouls throughout his life. Working with his fellow CCG members, such as Arima, Amon, Shinohara, Juuzou, and so forth. He had a addiction of creating unique Quinques of his own, but after the dark war, the death of most of the CCG members, he decided to create replicas of the weapons of the CCG heroes that had fallen during battle. Using the leftover materials used to create the original weapons, Shade created replicas of the weapons. Replicas such as The J13 , IXA, Doujima 1/2, Nutcracker, etc. He did this in order to honor them. He is extremely skilled in melee and ranged weapons. Shade is even capable of fighting strong ghouls such as Kaneki, Kuzen, Yamorri, Touka, Noro, Tatara, Eto, Etc. Giving the nickname as "The CCG's Reaper No.2"
