So basically in this universe the decepticons are good and the autobots are evil.

Optimus Prime is the sadistic tyrannical leader of the autobots, a cruel and ambitious villans whose plans fall nothing sort of universal conquest .

The only thing standing in prime's domination is Megatron ,a young and noble decepticon willing to lead a small band of rebels in a fight for freedom. Long ago he was a Librarian named Optronix who cheated his way up trough the Cybertronian society.

He formed the war -loving autobots and initiated a war against the complacent , but it wasn't until a crucial ,yer undocumented moment that he truly turned INSANE.

He suspends the corpses of his enemies and would-be usurped on the walls ,talking to them if they where still lived.

He is completely unhinged ,prone to deadly outbursts against even his most loyal followers.
