The Sodegarami (Sleeve Entagler) is a pole weapon that was used by the samurai class and their retainers in Feudal Japan.

It is a type of man catcher, it is used to control your opponent in battle by pulling them to the side with its hooks.

The spikes on the side of the handle are also used for cutting.
