In the comic version of Spider-Man: India, the protagonist, Pavitr Prabhakar, is an ordinary young man from Mumbai who gains spider-like abilities after being bitten by a mystical spider. Pavitr takes on the role of Spider-Man to protect his city from various threats, including villains like the evil scientist Nalin Oberoi, who turns into the demon-like villain, Evil Dr. Ock .Throughout his journey, Pavitr struggles to balance his life as a student, nephew, and superhero, learning the responsibility that comes with his powers, following the iconic Spider-Man motto: "With great power comes great responsibility."
