Well putting figs on the site kinda means you’re letting people edit them, (as long as they give credit, that is). What about if I ask for your permission beforehand?
Could you please let me use your fig? I think it’s a great figure, and i’d like to make other Sonic characters in that style. That way we have a consistent, good line of Sonic figs. And it’s not like you lose anything, if anything it gets your figs more attention. I’ll still give you full credit, of course. But could we please work something out?
