Description of Mothman:
Mothman is a creature who was first spotted in West Virginia (My home state, yay!) in 1966. According to many reports, he looks like a large, humanoid creature who has black skin, or presumably feathers, on his body. He also has glowing, red eyes. Mothman is about 7 feet tall with a 10-foot wingspan. He can fly at incredible speeds, some say up to 100 MPH. He appeared in 1966 during the Silver Bridge collapse between Ohio and West Virginia. Numerous Mothman sightings were reported later, but declined in 1968. Some people believe he's an omen, predicting disasters. Mothman sightings are rising recently. So could this mean another disaster is about to happen? Who knows...

Because I’ve seen Mothman with my own eyes. Saw him in my yard and was gonna snap a pic, but he flew off too quickly. So much for one of my state monsters.

Well, it really depends if you believe in Mothman’s existence or not. Many believe he is an omen predicting disasters, some believe he may have been a creature who lived in West Virginia for a long time, and others believe he may be an alien. As I live in West Virginia and am sure I saw something out my bedroom window, I do think Mothman exists.
