From the lost world jurassic park

Featured prominently in the movie. These creatures, often called "Compies," are notable for their pack behavior and carnivorous tendencies, despite their small size.

In the movie, they are first seen scavenging for food but later reveal their predatory nature when they attack a character. Their appearance in the franchise is inspired by their depiction as tiny but dangerous creatures that work together to take down larger prey.
