If you have QUESTIONS, its best to ask on either the FAQs page or better yet, make a post on the Activity section of the website.

You need to move the file after you download it or the app won’t be able to “see” it for importing.

Hey Ralph! Me again
I was just thinking, would it be possible to have a “Newly Added” section to the downloads page? because I only ever seem to see the most popular stick figures, and while that’s not a bad thing, it takes me ages to find new ones 🙁
So yeah if it’s possible I think it might be useful for us to see new talent 🙂
Hey Charlo. Well, actually, the main page (https://sticknodes.com/stickfigures/) is the “Newly Added” section, as you can see, they’re sorted by date on that page.
Oh yeah and I’ve just been wondering, who do you think has the best pixelated profile picture urgh alliteration XD?
I actually think nasons is pretty cool
I’m gonna have to go ahead and vote for me.
I need to know how to load a background image it does not let me
So, do you have the latest version of the app that has backgrounds as a feature? Are you able to find the button? What happens after you press it? Or does the problem occur after you select an image?
Ya how do you add special affects?
You create and animate them yourself, just like anything else. See thane’s animation for example: http://animationalpha.com/animation/after-the-ambush/
is there a way to draw on the animation and if so how?
Hey, sorry, but no. There’s no functionality like that, that’s more of a “traditional” animator where you draw the frames. All you have here are stickfigure objects.
And by the way this app is amazing!! I’ve been looking for an app or anything like this forever
Thanks, I’m glad you like it. I noticed the lack of good stickfigure animation apps on both Android and iOS, was a major factor in my decision to make Stick Nodes.
can you update both versions so you can type text? and make it so you can choose the text color? p.s. i have a kindle fire and i have no idea how to import files.
Yes, text is a common request. I’m looking into it.
Also, Kindle Fire runs on Android, so the instructions would be the same as that: https://sticknodes.com/faqs/#downloading
I copied it, but I have no idea how to paste it
