Story and humor are inapplicable to this animation, so I won’t critique them.
Coolbraker has certainly improved with this fight animation, though it still falters on some basic problems that he consistently has displayed. This is a collab fight, so all that can be reviewed is things pertaining to the fight itself.
For starters, the fluidity of the fight and the creativity behind it is very well done. The boost Bly gives Maria with his hat was pretty cool and an interesting concept and the fights are well done too. The problem Braker has always had with animations is the pacing, and that can be found here. The beginning is very high-paced and well done for sure, but the moment it pans to the plane and the “She needs help” is when the animation starts to lose some momentum. It really kills some of the intensity of the scene, and that energy isn’t regained. It does pick up a bit towards the end, but this doesn’t help the pacing of the fight. Besides that, it is pretty well done! I would certainly recommend watching it, as it is a quality fight, even with flaws, and I certainly enjoyed it.
Those visuals and animation work together real well. Everything here is really nice to look at. The animation is a little odd at times but overall it’s pretty solid. Theres also a good use of different angles and perspectives along with cuts and it turns out as a very entertaining animation.
