The Gunfighter Magnum is just like the regular magnum but with an Iron Sight and a faster fire rate. while lacking in long range accuracy, for a CQC prioritiser like me, the Gunfighter Magnum helps a lot as it exells at close range conflicts.

If pairing it up with anything, a good choice is either a Saw for spray damage and range or a Battle Rifle for long range battles, whipping out the Gunfighter Magnum when someone tries to get the jump on ya.

This is the only magnum I like using in halo 5 besides the Halo CE Magnum. Standard magnum is gross. Wisperers Truth is nice too.

I use Whispered Truth for rushing, it’s extremely effective at this as it has a speed boost.

That thing shoots burst fire though.

I’m assuming that the Whispered Truth is a Halo 5 gun because I’ve never played the newer Halos or heard of the gun.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m sure it’s a great gun, I’ve just never heard of it.

Hey, on Halo : Reach the starter pistol (I’m stupid enough to forget which pistol it is) I’ve killed some pretty decent things at medium range with the sight (and, if you sneak up on the enemy, with no enemies surrounding you)! ☺
