Yes.

So, just so anyone wont say that it is some big cool “robot”, it isn’t. It is an Synth, or technically an alien from race X or other one. But okay, they are atleast a little an robot as their armor is made of unknown alien material which makes them look like an robot or something. Also, Combine Gunships are also Synths as we can see that it has two blue eyes on each side and much more organic things. And sure, it is an bit of a robot as it has its armor of course. But we can’t say the same about the Combine Helicopters which are controlled by an Soldier or maybe an Pilot which makes them an vehicle.

I agree , but nobody called it a robot here…
