Im just gonna call it the infected universe… Yeah why not, he got hit by an infected and got hurt, than he exploded him and the infected died, he felt that he was transforming into an in infected (btw in his universe people have a dark and light power in them) the dark part of him got infected, to save himself he throwed a flere of his power and saved himself, but the infected part of him remained, only if the infected dies he would get all his powers back.
