While good sound design can certainly elevate an animation, it takes more than just sound to make one good. This is certainly the case with “Eyes The Horror Game”. Scaring people takes quite a bit of work to do effectively, and the animation simply cannot capture any form of fear factor without using sounds. Horror can be done with incredible skill using only sounds (Jaws) but this animation lacks quite a lot to push it over the edge. The only derivable horror I could see from this is knowledge of the original game being translated onto this. This animation in itself isn’t scary or startling, it tries but fails. There’s not much here, and honestly, there is a lot better you could be watching than this. That’s all I really have to say on the matter. Just watch something else, you could derive more from that than this.

PL Team Slave OwnerAs a horror animation, I wasn’t quite impressed. The sounds used can elevate the fearful feeling, but they don’t do it much here. Design and suspense are missing to create the horror in the first place. I pretty much just see a person walking around a house, picking up cash in a non satisfying way. The visual screw up that is made at the start of the animation is really bad and distracting all the way through. I don’t even now I that screw up is made. The animation too in itself is pretty mediocre and doesn’t over anything entertaining. Really disappointed especially for something this popular.
Sound is great, very creepy and all that, but the animation itself is meh. like the fact that the light from the flashlight starts behind it is extremely triggering.
-u know what’s funny, right before i posted this i checked the comments to see if the light coming from behind was a video game reference or something, and it turns out i wrote the exact same complaint in the comments of the vid two years ago
This is the first time I watched this after it being in my recommendations consistently. It was quite the let down. It is a horror animation, well, it’s supposed to be. It just isn’t very scary in my opinion. To be fair, the idea isn’t that bad, the animation is alright and overall I’d say it was a 2/5. Could be a lot better, but it wasn’t exactly bad.
