Harbinger Class Siege Frigate - Was a type class of orbital bombardment frigates made and used by the Critical Mass Tech.

The frigates are used for specialize long range bombardments on enemy holdouts from space or even at atmosphere. A notable characteristic of the Harbinger Class was its super weapon located from the forward bow of the ship, which could set either be a straight beam of laser or plasmatic particle cannons. These weapons were powerful enough to not only conduct cataclysmic assaults on enemy locations but to also engage other capital ships larger than its size from extremely long range.

Like all CMT ships, the frigates are equipped with shields. The ship does not have any decent defense against small crafts like fighters and bombers though it does have medium capital ship cannons to somewhat compensate that role as a point defense.

The quantity of the ships made for the navy were far less than most of the other class of ships in service because of how expensive it is and to make its super weapon and by this the navy only used the ships for special bombardment operations and necessary instant capital ship busting.
