This is the 5th generation (H200) Toyota HiAce that first made it's introduction in 2004. It offers a variety of engine options, all of which are in the inline 4 configuration. The Philippines specifically received the 2.5-litre 2KD diesel engine that has about 100 horsepower being sent to the rear wheels. The HiAce is a very useful vehicle seeing as it can be turned into a lot of things from a police van to an ambulance, or just simply for carrying special cargo whether it being humans or bags of cash. No wonder it has the reputation of being the vehicle you might want to avoid, especially if it's white and it doesn't help that the HiAce is one of the most common stolen vehicles.
