A dinosaur that lived in Late Cretacious North America, a tyrannosaurid specimen was recently discovered. There was a large debate in 2013 over whether this specimen was a juvenile Tyrannosaurus or a completely new genus. It was soon given the name Nanotyrannus, or "Tiny Tyrant." It is known from its skull and a few other body parts, but it was estimated to be as tall as a man and around 5 meters long.
