What if Status Effects would vary in effectiveness based on the Typing of the opposing Pokemon?
For example, the Frozen Status lasts less time if it’s a Fire Type that’s frozen, while it takes longer to thaw for Water Types
Or Paralysis Status is less likely to affect Rock and Ground Types, but more likely to affect Water and Steel Types
Or Poisoned Status is less likely to damage Rock or Ground Types, but does extra damage for Water and Grass Types
