I made a separate animation, as an experiment.
One idea for purple was for him to transform, so instead of “purple fading to black’ he was all purple, and had two extra blades on his lower leg.
The point was for him to flip around, spin as a ball, do some cool acrobatic moves. I scrapped the idea, because I already made them the same strength. Meaning, making one stronger would lead to making the other stronger, and I didn’t want to make robot arm guy transform.
I experiment animation was to test out his 2nd form. It did not go well.
