Ok but why
Better looking effects
Like holding weapons or items
for example, so the gun can be in front of the body, but behind the hand/arm
ps im open for commisions, $99 for sketch $599 for color

people do that so that when they make the stick hold a object the object is behind the arm and is not behind the torso
Mainly layering
but it also helps to add more detail if node limit is too low.
So it could be realisticly infront and behind things
