I’ve read some more stuff on Milky’s post about Gigan, heard different stories.

Overall from what I can tell, Jack, Chim and the lot don’t like Gigan because apparently he’s scaring away users and is generally a bad influence on others and Gigan and the lot are saying he’s fine and get to know him better. On top of how they’ve been, what Chim and whoever has done, they’re not perfect either.

The consensus in my opinion is that not all of us are doing the best of things, we’ve made poor choices and are not always at the top of our game but it helps to experience it so you can move forward and learn more. It seems Jack and the lot seem to be reading into it too much playing m’lady and saying how Gigan is using ‘rape’ and everything else so freely, standing up for women like they’re poor and defenceless and have never met weirdos like Gigan before on the internet or irl.

While I agree no matter who you are you can’t just do things and get away with it because ‘hey that’s just me’, Gigan’s not some supervillain.

You all can act as innocent as you want but you’ve done some bad things also, had some rough patches. Trying to hide and ignore that rather then respecting it happened and moving forward.

He says weird stuff but we all do and for what it’s worth he doesn’t always do it nor does he speak for the entire community, other’s contribute to welcoming new users aside from Gigan and with his responses being pretty formulaic with ‘die’ ‘gey’ etc I’m sure new users can see that and take to the other users actually welcoming them.

I don’t like how so many people here can’t have their own opinion and when they do they shut all others out and become self-indulgent rather then seeing all sides and taking to it logically. It’s either ‘I love Gigan’ or ‘I hate Gigan’ a lot of the times.

I notice this in newer users also, not knowing their own opinions well and who they are can mean they follow whatever they think is right but ultimately it’s not. You’ve got to be able to see it properly and not take it to heart.

He says weird shit but he won’t go ahead and consistently annoy people, he’ll break away and have sincerity with what he says.

It’s all too ‘my way or the highway, I’ve done this so I’m a Chad, I’m not a virgin so I’m better then you’.

To summarise users need to open up more and not take too much to heart, look at it from a non-biased perspective rather then what your friends and what you want to believe to keep you occupied, to talk and complain about.
