Something important about the movieclips is you gotta add sounds. But only the sounds that don’t interact with the map or the player.

An example of this is for a run movie clip, you need to make sounds for the whooshes, but not the footsteps, as the map can have a wood floor, and sandy floor, etc.
Or for an attack movieclip you wouldn’t make the noise of the person getting hurt, but you’d make the noise for the impact of the weapon and the whoosh.

Also another very important thing is you have to record you voice for grunts and other stuff for your characters movesets, if you don’t feel comfortable doing this, just tell me, or you can get other voices from a sound website. But make sure the sounds are in the movieclip.

    that’s all

    • Well they can’t be movieclips when you make the actual game, and sounds won’t matter either, unless you’re doing like an arcfi thing where it’s animations instead

Movieclips will be good for animations if you just wanna look at what the game could be and run concepts for the product, but to make the actual game you need each frame individually, and you need to sort of recreate them using unity or whatever you’re using by making a different kind of node. Have you made games before? If not, I suggest you try practicing with small quicker projects so you’ll know what to do.

sort of, so me and other people are doing movesets for our oc’s and once we have at least 25 movesets Mzati will start coding.
Ik a way to turn movieclips to sprites, so were gonna use movieclips so we can also make concept animations while the games in production
