2022-01-14 04:29:07 UTC Anyone have a good tip on how to animate a vehicle drive fucking straight I’ve had this problem for too long and it’s pissing me off, it’s like casually driving and then proceeds to move down. I can’t even notice if it’s down or not because I don’t have good eyes.

U can just start the vehicle and ease in, it must gradually increase speed, add the whoosh effects to get better results while driving stright, and then ease out and stop it where you want
Start with a floor or make an invisible line for yourself to look at as a guide,
You need some sort of guide or ground so you don’t accidentally have the car float off.
Once you have that down, just move the car frame by frame forward slowly (cars don’t just immediately burst off at top speed), and have it ease into cruising speed.
Keep aware of the weight of the car. You’d want to animate it on the heavier side, with slow tugs on itself against the ground before it’s inevitable startup and drive.
