i kinda think madness style anims and sticknodes-style animating go together well
that’s how its done in flash, they’re all separate objects (the limbs) and they just like, bumble around
yeah, i suppose it’s a matter of getting used to it. i only did it like 3 times half a decade ago lmao
Madness is another fandom such as FNAF and DBZ that has a foothold on the Sticknodes community, and despite, yes, being harder to animate than average, it also allows people to express themselves with Madness Combat characters. Difficulty to animate shouldnβt be a deterrent for people.
Personally, you just get used to it, using flash madness animations as a reference or making your own style!

i’ve made a few in flash, and when you get used to the interface it’s great
the problem for me, is getting proper movement in sticknodes. you either need to animate one frame at a time, which can quickly become confusing when you need to have constant movement.
alternatively, one limb at a time. the pain of copy-pasting should explain itself
I actually struggle because I tend to do the latter as my style of animation.
