Grodot’s version of a year is called a Chrono. Grodot is 100 chronos beyond Earth, so if this is 2022, Grodot is 2122.

Grodotians age very slowly, each human year of age is 2 for them. In other words, a Grodotian needs two years to appear physically and mentally the same age that a human would be in one year. Their life expectancy is around 200-220 years, but by then they only look 70. Max is physically and mentally 17 today in 2122, but he’s lived for 34 years. He was born in 2088, 1988 on Earth.

This is the War for Lunos, a dangerous war when Max was 14. The Metal Dragons launched tenacious attacks toward them, hellbent on conquering the planet for the extraction of their energy-giving plants, Lunos (which makes the metal Lunite). Since some battles were in space, 6 of the 9 moons in Grodot where destroyed. Only 3 remained, but luckily it was still enough to help Lunos plants grow. Unluckily, Grodotians lost most of their godly powers when they lost their moons. Only very few have this power, which comes in the form of elements (Like Max’s wind).
