why does the website have like 160mb worth of website data compared to youtube.com (the second biggest data hog on my device apparently) which has like 40mb
i havent cleared it yet but id like to ask if this like contributes to website lag or anything like that since the site is really laggy for me

off the top of my head I’m not sure, I’d assume something like thumbnails, which are a bit unoptimized (stickfigures, and also animation spotlights)
but 140mb seems excessive
I will investigate, as I’m trying to optimize things a bit rn
wiped the website data and reloaded (and logged on) the site, immediately seems to have gotten 14mb of data for some reason
Honestly when you first added stickfigure spotlights, that shit really cranked up on data usage too. I think it’s mainly coming down do image resolution on majority of the pages.
Also Christmas winner pic is 3mb by itself on the home page. Not including all the gifs.
