This is the hero. He definitely wasn’t my best way back then, but he was certainly a character I was proud of. I think he acts as a precursor to the current Melo-D in many ways beyond just design. Ideas I had for the hero were either coincidentally shared with Melo-D or subconsciously dripped into him
I kinda like the design. Maybe a revamp in your new style would do him some good?

On second thoughts, I’ll keep the two of them split apart. A “hollow knight but cuter” execution of this character sounds awfully promising. Maybe I’ll turn him into a moth, make him a rival of Nyaf or something
