I hate the trope in so many TV and movies.
Given: A bad person. Serial rapist, lets say. You know this, and happen to be there as he is approaching a woman in a dark alley one night. You interfere and she gets away, now he’s coming at you. So you shoot him dead.Often, the trope is now the person is guilt-ridden. “He was still a human, and I killed him.” They may have nightmares or some other cliche.
I wouldn’t miss a wink of sleep. Honestly, like, I’m really trying to hypothetically put myself in that situation in real life, considering all the real-world repercussions. In fact I’d probably go get a burger after the deed was done. From Wendy’s.

I know like I’m already violent enough but I consider myself controlled for the most part irl , least I think I am but
Any time I see , rapist , murderers , etc , in prison , we as like citizens and shit kinda feed them and provide them with their new fucking home , it ain’t a fucking good one but still , most of the times they’re remorseless fucks who only weep cause they’re gonna waste various amounts of time behind bars
But even then some of the sentencing is so fucking pathetically little , like you’re telling me a dude can literally rape his own child , and still get out of prison before she’s an adult let’s say
You’re telling me a murderer can literally fucking live through their sentences , live a rougher life then before but still get to walk another fucking day while their victims lay in the ground rotting away
You’re telling me that the heinous people especially get to essentially live in time out for a couple of fucking years and dip out before even age starts to wear them down
I’m not saying this against all like locked up criminals but I really have a fucking personal belief that most systems are way too fucking easy on people like this

I can’t fathom the idea of forcing yourself onto someone , that someone being a kid even , ending other’s lives because (life is too rough) I hate really the whole concept of how these people are treated sometimes

what you have to realize is that child predators get it the worst in jail for good reason.
i once read an article about an inmate who beat two child predators to death in one day because one of them was watching children’s programming on the TV. and he killed the other one on his way to turn himself in (and these are his real words) “for good measure.”

Well if I had the choice I wouldn’t shoot the guy dead, just shoot him in the leg or something to incapacitate him so I can report him to the police. Then he wouldn’t have to die but still be punished and the victim can get justice. If I had to shoot the guy dead I wouldn’t bat an eye, no, it’s so dumb seeing on TV and all when the hero kills the villain that was terrorizing the world and committing mass genocide, the hero is so sad and wa wa wa aren’t I the villain now like shut up dude you just saved millions of lives for the price of one. So if I had the choice of killing a rapist/murderer so somebody doesn’t have to have that happen to them? I’ll take it, absolutely. and I’ll have a mighty good sleep that night too.
Shooting him the legs wouldnβt just incapacitate him. There are a fuck ton of veins and arteries in the legs. Heβd likely bleed out before the police were on-scene
