I’d suggest bending his knees a bit more and keeping his back more straight (Unless he’s one of those aggressive types or a boxer). It’s not a bad stance certainly it just needs some small fixes. The front foot should be more flat while the one in the back more of in a position to push off from.
Front leg bent and back leg straighter
Keep feet almost flat on ground with slight angle to it and it should look good.
Use references, this was just a quick tip that I use.
