      Honestly I’m really wondering if these spam bots are just going across random WordPress sites or they specifically have sticknodes.com as a target.

      What I’m saying is I wonder if making a basic ass custom capcha would make bots shid themselves

        oh no way it’s definitely WordPress, this is a business model for them lol

        lots of things in place to prevent it but they still get through

        things like the captcha, blocking high-threat IPs via cloudflare, disabling access to remote-login stuff built into wordpress, and even moving the default login page (its not wp-login.php like usual WP installations) blocks a *lot* of the botting
