Hey you, the guy with earplugs that has cables on, yes you ( everyone else can leave )

Have you ever felt the need for better sound quality ? Do you want new earplugs to flex on those airpod fanatics at your school ? Well search no further ! I am here to nerd out on you and tell you which earplug to buy and be satisfied for the rest of your life !

The following earbuds ( or the correct term, In Ear Monitor or IEM ) has :
    – Fun and engaging sound
    – Natural-sounding instruments
    – B I G B A S S
    – Beautiful and buttery smooth vocals
    – Technical performance that makes them sound like you have a jazz club playing in your head ( and when that happens, it’s just magic )

For 20$ : 7Hz Zero, if you were to spend the least amount of money on an earplug and be done for life, this is it, very natural tuning, an inoffensive all-rounder that anyone can fall in love with, for only 20$, it’s pretty much a blind buy.

50$ : 2 options, Tanchjim Ola and Celeste Gumiho

The Ola will shock you, it is simply AMAZING for the price

To put in perspective how good it is, here are the headphones that it beats the shit out of in every aspect imaginable sound-wise :
    – Airpods Pro ⚰️
    – WH1000XM4 ⚰️
    – Jabra Elite 85T ⚰️
    – Airpods Max ⚰️
    – Sennheiser Momentum 3 ⚰️
    – Soundcore Q35 ⚰️
    – Bose QC45 ( only half-dead because it’s tuning is decent )

And those headphones are NOT cheap, most of them cost 300$ and one of them is 500$, ten times more ! And I guarentee you it really sounds better than ALL of them

If you listen to songs with lots of female vocal, or classical music, or pop, soft rock, psychedelic rock, grunge, opera, then this is absolutely a perfect match for you, nothing will be better up than it until 200$.
it is energetic, it sounds clean, it’s engaging, the vocals are just buttery smooth, the timbre is correct, the technicalities are quite good and makes it sound almost like a full-sized headphone which is just ☠️

However, if you listen to EDM, Metal or hell, b r e a k c o r e, this is not for you, stay the heck away from it, even the most brutal technical death metal song will sound lifeless and sterile, and that is due to the lack of bass ( BUT there is a bass boosted version of the Ola coming soon which might fix that, we’ll have to see )

The other IEM at this price range is the Celeste Gumiho

Are you looking for that bass ? Do you like EDM ? Do you like metal ? Do you like DEATH metal ? Then boy oh boy, this one hits all the right spots

You’ll just headbang non-stop with it all day long, it seems like it was simply made for that, it also has above-average technical performance but nothing exceptional.

However, if you listen to anything other than those genre of music, it won’t be that great, yes it’ll still sound good but it won’t shine as much as in metal and EDM.

Now, there is a BIG gap between the price ranges, because that’s where you’ll actually notice a difference and it’ll be a worthwhile upgrade, so we jump straight into the 200$ price range

For 200$, there are also only 2 real options : Tanchjim Hana and 7Hz Timeless

However if you live in south-east Asia, these buds won’t be quite 200$, in fact, you get a damn discount ! Because those buds are made in Asia ! Both of them now only cost 150-ish which is simply an absolute steal, for those outside of SE Asia, get rekt lmfao

7hz Timeless, my oh my… When this hit the market, it obliterated everything in the 200$ and 300$ price range, it was just too good, only a few IEMs can compete with it, and by few, I mean only 2-3 ecks dee !

Just like the Celeste Gumiho, you want dat bass, but MORE ? this is it, this is freaking it, the bass cannon, the one that DRILLS A HOLE IN YOUR SKULL WHEN THE BASS DROPS , this is pretty much an EDM fan’s wet dream come true, it’s also no slouch with metal, everything is tighter and more impactful with more slamming, excellent for death metal !

However, like the Gumiho, it’s not that great at other genres, you might feel like the pop songs you play through them sounds a bit mellow ( but that’s not a bad thing, some people actually like it alot ) and sometimes even a bit muddy due to the bassy tuning of them, but again, it’s useable and still sounds good, it’s just that it really shines with EDM and metal

Tanchjim Hana on the other hand, it’s the Ola, but on a shit ton of steroids, the female vocals will simply make you cry ( of joy ), the naturalness is just (s)excellent and it has some technical brawns to compliment that, it just sounds like a jazz club playing in your head on some songs ( I found that it always happens on Creep by Radiohead, it’s simply magical, everything just comes alive and it feels like you’re at a live concert ), it also has very high level of detail, and by that I mean, every breath the artist takes, I hear it ( I found that MUSE is particularly guilty of that )

But unlike the 7Hz timeless, don’t even bother with metal music or EDM, it makes them sound sterile af.

Okay, so then we jump to another price point, but this time, the difference is huge

1000$ – 4000$ : yeah I doubt anyone would buy this but the kilobuck overpriced earplug market is very very fierce, there are alot of competitors so I’ll gloss over them real quick

Thieaudio Monarch MKII : ah yes, the all-rounder that is excellent at everything, a safe pick but not my preference, really really good though

Campfire Audio Andromeda : this thing is exploding head emoji excellent, it’s like 8K for your ears, it’s just absurd how much technical performance this thing has, not great for metal or EDM though

IER-Z1R : bro the bass quality and treble quality ☠️☠️☠️, it’s surreal, also sounds like a concert hall which is even more ☠️

QdC Anole VX : so the Andromeda is 8K right, uh this thing, it’s 24K, the detail is absolutely mind blowing on it, to the point of being fatiguing because you hear every breath, every movemet, every rustle, every mistake, for the detail freaks, this is the best… Unless they’re willing to pay for the Annihilator

64Audio U12T : ehhh I don’t see why you’d fork 1000$ more for what is essentially the same performance as the Andromeda and slightly worse than the IER-Z1R, the tuning maybe ? And that it doesn’t have weak bass ? And comfort ? And that it comes with a cool ApEx module that you can switch between for better noise isolation or worse in exchange for more or less air pressure buildup in your ears ? I don’t really see why you’d buy this.

Empire Ears Odin : again, why spend way more for essentially the same performance as the Andromeda, one thing that I can say though, is that the imaging and the bass impact, wow, just wow, it stands out among all others

Elysian Annihilator : oh fuck, I did NOT expect this, I thought it was an overhyped, overpriced piece of shit but oh my god, OH MY GOD .
Words cannot describe the sound of it, you have to experience it yourself, it is out of this world, it is indeed, the Annihilator
