What show has no likable characters?
    byu/hungrytiredandbored inAskReddit

So I was reading this Reddit post, and I saw Cailiou as one of the answers. So I looked at the replies, while eating a cracker, and I see “ The premise of that abomination has got to be, “how can we make the audience of a kids show root for cancer?”

Moral of the story: stop eating crackers when eating funny comments, which I should’ve known since this was the second time this happened.

    • No likable characters ? Neon Genesis Evangelion, every character is so damn hatable

Shinji is a coward, and unlike Nobita from Doraemon, doesn’t get better later on ( except in the ending )

Asuka is your typical basic bitch karen

Shinji’s father is well, a bastard

The guy watering some melons right before the world is literally about to end, is well, watering melons right before the world ends

Non likeable characters: literally every cousin/baby/new character they add to the last season of the show instead of learning from OTHER shows that it doesn’t end well. And they also of course have to make the character the most annoying little a**hole they can.

Oh c’mon that can be good sometimes

Not a show but, in Tekken 3, a new character is introduced, claiming to be the son of Kazuya Mishima, Jin Mishima would go on to become one of the best characters in the entire series, he got a good daddy issue story and ties in into every other sub-plot of the game series well

Yeah you have no idea what im talking about but, introducing a completely new and unheard of character isn’t bad all of the time

I do have one instance where it was exceptionally bad, Stranger Things

Who the fuck is Vecna ? Why didn’t we hear about him in the previous seasons ? Is he the one who created the ” upside down ” ? Is he the shadow monster ? If so how come 11 couldn’t remember him, even though she seems to have remembered him pretty darn well in the latest season, if the upside-down isn’t the cause of the weird-ass powers telekinesis that some kids inherit, then what is ?

Plus he’s not even a Vaas-type villain ( aka a fucking bastard but likable as hell ), he always grunts and goes ” GrhMmmMM ” ( only Akuma can do that and still be badass, not some gandhi flip-flop looking guy ) walks extra slow ( caution netflix, you almost lost the attention of the tiktok users watching the show by making him walk too slow ! ) And is disappointingly weak

Seriously ? You can’t even kill a much weaker practicioner of the same magic as your’s ? Somebody get a blacksmiths, we need some serious plot armor removal here !

Hey, atleast in the ending, he wins ( supposedly ), a villain winning after a long victory streak by the heroes is a win in my books

Yeah I guess it could, but…..

Lab rats flashbacks with “bionic island”

Most of the time it’s poorly executed

    • not a show but The Quarry was the biggest downgrade from Until Dawn since the beginning of time, partly for this reason
