Im pretty sure HBO just race-swapped the scooby-doo cast and removed the scooby-doo himself just to cause outrage, and they did, now everyone’s gonna be watching the series just to see how bad it is ( it’s going to be really bad don’t worry, with lots of baits as well to make people angrier than they already are )
If everyone watches it ( which they will ) then it’s gonna be profitable for HBO and you can bet your ass they’re going to ruin a cartoon series and race-swap or even gender-swap everyone just to cause outrage and make more money 💰💲💰🤑🤑 in the next 20 years or so
If nobody watches it ( unlikely ), then we’d show that despite the outrage, nobody wants this type of cartoon, and it’s not going to be profitable for HBO, thus they’ll just go back to making more nude scenes in Game of Thrones for profit.

Race/gender swapping always annoys me. It shows that they think if they just get a new actor who is female/black it means they don’t have to put any effort into he file since people would see it anyway since it’s now “woke”.
It’s similar to the issue where they make either:
strong FEMALE characters instead of STRONG female characters.
Or they make strong BLACK characters instead of STRONG black characters.
They put too much effort in trying to be “woke” it just comes off as forced.
I don’t care if something is race or gender swapped, i mean as long as those aspects aren’t integral to the character. Also Velmas been lesbian for like a while. I mean I don’t see very many people shitting their pants when Jesus is portrayed as white.
Well I don’t have an idea with the idea itself, but more of how it’s executed. Movies tend to gender swap a role and think that that is enough to bring in viewers, than slack on everything else.
Also I never said anything about Velma being lesbian or that I had any issues.
